In this portfolio based art class, students, ages 12-17, will build upon their current knowledge of principles and elements of art and be encouraged to extend creativity through a variety of mediums and materials. This class is designed for the serious artist looking to advance their skills to enhance their current body of work in a studio based atmosphere.
-Prior training is not a prerequisite for this class.
-Most materials will be provided. Students are encouraged to purchase a portfolio to transport work to and from studio.
Classes meet Tuesdays, 6:45-8:00 PM – 1 hour 15 minutes per week (ages 12-17)
12 Week Session* begins the week of May 14 and ends the week of August 6, 2018.
6 Week Session I begins the week of May 14 and ends the week of June 18, 2018.
6 Week Session II* begins the week of June 25 and ends the week of August 6, 2018.
*Please note we will NOT meet the week of July 2, 2018.
